About my collections

I love westerns, gangster movies, film noir, and old movies in general, whether they be comedy, melodrama, adventure, or whatever. That doesn't mean I don't like current movies, I just appreciate the classic films and the old Hollywood stars.

As far as music goes, I have a Vinyl album collection of mostly classic rock, but also includes some Blues, Bluegrass, Country, and Comedy albums as well. Of the rock, I have mostly Hard Rock, but also some Pop, a little Metal, some Punk, Progressive, and even some 70's singer/songwriters. I am lacking in Soul & Funk, I have 1 James Brown LP and the closest thing to Jazz is Jeff Beck and Steely Dan. I don't like Rap or most of the current Top 40 Radio Pop. I haven't counted my albums, but I would estimate it at 1000+.

I like a good book and have read some classic ones like Catcher in the Rye, Siddhartha, On The Road, and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, but have also read other things like The Sicilian, The Choirboys, The Longest Night, and Primary Colors. I have a copy of The Da Vinci Code that I plan to read soon and I would also like to read The Godfather sometime.

I am not a gamer. I have XBox and Wii that I play with my kids sometimes. We have Guitar Hero with the Rock Band set up and the sports games on Wii, but I don't have all the other popular War and Zombie killing games.

Thanks for voting for my Who's Listal's Most Classic Beauty list poll; however,...

Here are the rules:
1 - vote for any THREE from each decade on the list. I've started with 5.
2 - if someone isn't on the list, vote anyway and I'll add them
3 - If you offer more than THREE, I will only count the first THREE and add any suggestions
4 - The list will be amended based on the number of votes.
